Thanks To My Teacher has one simple vision: We will help society rediscover a lost respect for teachers. Through that rediscovery, we will encourage our best and brightest – in school and already deep into their careers – to consider teaching as a respected and rewarding life's work.

Thanks To My Teacher’s mission centers on a simple query: "Did a teacher make a difference in your life?" This question almost invariably triggers a positive and intensely personal response.

Thanks To My Teacher is in development and will launch nationwide in 2012.

Thanks To My Teacher will start a national, viral dialog that will encourage individuals to remember the special teacher in their own life and to actively thank them. Then it will collectivize those individual memories into a broad social consciousness that helps us as a nation to recapture a respect for teaching.
